Credit card turned to collections.
I had a credit card, it was a very high intrest rate. My Credit report states written off..I have a collection company (allied) attempting to collect so my husband made a payment, But my question is do I have to pay the collection agency if it has been written off? Should I ask to have it validated? It is only $600.00 but right now that is a million.. Thanks.

Advice for the last few?
I've been tacking my pdls head-on for the last two weeks. So far, I've had six marked PIF. Part of my success has been due to the fact that I grossly overpaid on all of them, I had not defaulted, and the District has fairly clear cut laws about payday lending. I have four that are giving me trouble--Sagamore, Payday-Loan-Yes, Eastside Lenders and the dreaded MTE Financial Services. I've sent e-mails, faxes and filed complaints until I'm blue in the face. Does anything work with these guys? ...

Has anyone used ABC debt solution?
I just spoke with a guy at ABC debt solution (fastdebtsoultion.net)and he said he can lower my 60,000 of credit card debt down to 24,000 with their fee being 9,000. So basically I am reducing my debt to about half for $687 a month. This sounds great to me and I want to move forward, but everyone has failure stories and I am hoping no one has failed with them. Please advise...

How do you get your interest rate lowered or finance charges lowered
ive heard people calling but what do you say and how do you do it. My payments are almost the same as finance charges. Also has anyone read debt cures and please no bad talk about trudea

I had a credit card that obtained an attorney to try to collect an account.The attorney got the account a little over 45 days ago.They sent me their letter stating I had 30 days to request validatin and so on and on. I did, I requested validation,proof of entire balance and what did I get? Nothing until today, I was served by sherrif court summons papers.Yes they are legit.Now what do I do?
