For a buyer looking for an absolutely stunning Hopkinton MA luxury home this home at 26 Overlook Road in The Estates at Highland Ridge certainly fit the bill! This home is located in a popular Toll Brothers community that is right near the Soutboro line off Cedar Street extension. The location for this luxury resindence was perfect for those who need easy access to RTE 9 and the Mass Pike or the T station a couple miles down the road!

As you enter this neighborhood and come upon the home it just says WOW! The curb appeal was fantastic with it's double peaks, portico and brick accents. Walking up to the front door you coult not help but notice the extensive landscaping along with the handsome brick paver walk way.

As you entered this home you were captivated by a beautiful two story foyer with wood staircase and hardwood flooring. The foyer was flanked by the formal living and dining rooms. Each of these rooms was appointed very well. The living room had hardwood flooring. The dining room was even more impressive with it's trey ceiling, hardwood floors, crown moldings and wainscoting. There was also a Butlers pantry between the kitchen and dining room to service formal occasions.

The kitchen was certainly a room that would appeal to anyone that likes to cook. There were stately looking Cherry cabinets with granite counters and stainless appliances. For food preparation there was a large island in the middle of the work triangle. The kitchen included both a wall oven, gas cook-top, and microwave. There was no shortage of storage space with a full walk-in pantry as well.

One of my favorite features of this Hopkinton home was the two story eating area that had a balcony overlook from the second floor. Not only did this area give you a real sense of space, it is an amenity you don't often see in a kitchen. There was no shortage of light as the kithen featured a large set of glass doors that take you out to an entertainment size deck.

The cook will never feel alone as there was a spacious fireplaced family room that adjoined the kitchen. A large triple boxed window flooded the room with natural light. There were also two first floor bonus rooms in this floor plan including a study and Florida room. The study works well for those that work out of the home and has French doors for privacy along with hardwood flooring.

The Florida/sun room had cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors and loads of glass. This was a comfortable space that offered a buyer flexibility to use the room for their choosing. Lastly the first floor had a powder room and full laundry room which was accessed from both the kitchen and garage. It was the perfect mud room area.

The second floor was no less attractive than the first. There was an exceptional master suite that had trey ceilings, a full sitting room, his/her walk-in closets and a lavish bath with cathedral ceilings, skylight, double vanities, whirlpool tub and separate tile shower. The mater suite was worth showing off!

All of the secondary bedrooms were quite spacious and had there own access to a full bath. The second bedroom had it's own suite with a full bath and walk-in closet. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms had a Jack and Jill bath and as well as plenty of closet space.

Without a doubt what set this home apart from other luxury properties was the newly finished walk-out lower level. This well designed space was just so eye appealing. Most buyer's viewing this area were very impressed, as it is as nice as the first two floors of the home. If entertaining guests is your thing there is no doubt you would have loved this space. There was a wide open family room area that offered plenty of space for both a pool table and ping pong table. This is the kind of space a kid would never want to leave! You will also find a media area with a second gas fireplace and real tigerwood hardwood flooring that was gorgeous. 

For those that like to have a work-out right at home rather than paying for a gym membership there was a separate exerise room with rubber flooring as well as a full bath. There awere full size windows along the entire back of the lower level along with double glass doors leading to an expansive paver patio and fire pit area. Following the paver walkway to the oversized multi-level deck made of Ipe hardwood you could enjoy watching the sunset above the tree tops.

In total this home had 14 rooms, 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. There was a 3 car attached garage. The lot on this Hopkinton home is 1.38 acres. The home is heated by gas with forced hot air including central air. The taxes for 2011 were $13,130.

Every now and ten a home comes along that you are pretty sure will sell very quickly. Usually the property is in a good location, has been well maintained and has a good lot. Basically all the ingrediants in a home that today's buyers are looking for can be found at the property. This home at 24 Louisa Drive Northbridge happened to to fit the bill for all these things. One of the terrific features was the large kitchen with tons of Oak cabinetry and nice eating area with sliders that offered views to a private deck overlooking the backyard.

One of my favorite features and surely in the buyer's mind as well, was the spacious family room that was located directly off the kitchen. The room was just super as it featured cathedral ceilings, brick fireplace and gorgeous palladium style feature window. The room was flooded with natural sunlight!

The first floor also had both a formal dining room with hardwood floors as well as a parlor or living room with hardwood. The owner of the home did not have the need for a formal living space so it was set up perfectly as an office. The first floor also had a powder room and laundry area right off the kitchen.

The second floor had three terrific size bedrooms including a master suite with a full bath. There was no shortage of closet space as the master had a his and her walk-in closets. A family bath serviced the other two bedrooms.

The lot iwas outstanding with plenty of usable space as well as woods and a back drop. There were two outbuildings perfect for storing the lawn equipment. The lot was just under a half acre.

The home was heated by forced hot water by oil. A few additional amenities included a security system and sprinklers for the lawn.

In total there were 7 rooms, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a two car garage. The total gross living area was 1855 square feet.
