NicheMarketing
By creating a niche with your website, your search engine optimization, and possibly your business model, you can effectively eliminate most of your competitors. Become an expert in your market - be perceived as an expert in your market - and reap the benefits as your website outranks those of your competitors!

Creative web marketing
"Putting all your eggs in one basket" in regards to your web marketing is not a great idea. Search engines' algorithms change with the wind - and you have absolutely no control. By spreading out your marketing wings on the web, you can protect your traffic generated by the search engines.

Think different.
REALTORS spend a lot of time, money and energy trying to promote themselves over their competition. In a business where essentially everyone has the same product to sell (and LOTS of competitors!), the only thing that separates you from the competition is - YOU! You're better, more knowledgeable, more experienced than the next guy, right? Well, why do most websites say "I am exactly like the competition?" - because your website looks EXACTLY like your competition! It doesn't make sense!

Search Engines... again.
The rules change. Especially recently in regards to Google. Reciprocal links don't mean that much anymore - do they? Google's recent "Big Daddy" update did a number on many real estate websites. Now what?

Drip email campaigns for REALTORS
Once someone comes to your website, how do you get them back again? How do you keep your name in front of customers for that 9-16 month period before they are actually ready to contact a real person? An email campaign (sometimes known as a drip campaign) can mean the difference between a failure and a success in regards to your internet marketing. However, not all drip campaigns are created equal. Some are just constant blasts of worthless information, which most people regard as spam. How can you make email the BEST tool for internet marketing vs. ruining your reputation before you've even spoken to a potential client?

Search Engine Marketing
Everyone wants to be at the top of a Google search. Every company guarantees they can place you there. PageRank, reciprocal links, keywords - it's all enough to make you dizzy. What is fact? What is myth? How much time can you really afford to spend on optimzing your site?

Why most real estate websites are failures
My definition of success with a website is a site that generates a steady, consistent flow of leads, and in turn - income. Your website should MAKE you money. In fact, it can be the best bang for your marketing buck - if you buy into - and understand six very important concepts: 1) Your primary marketing vehicle for your business is a deep, consumer-oriented Web site. 2) All of your other marketing materials and efforts are designed with one purpose: to get the consumer to YOUR web site. 3) A commitment to an overall internet marketing campaign. 4) This is not your mother’s real estate office. 5) You're dealing with a different customer than that of a decade ago. 6) A great website will not make you a good REALTOR.
